Description

Abyss Fishing is a cozy arcade fishing game. You drop your hook from the boat and steer it past fish and junk on the way down, then reel up through the school and catch everything you can on the way back. The deeper the line goes, the stranger and rarer the fish.

Players dive five oceans, from the bright Sunlit Shallows and the icy Frosty Fjords to Kelpwood Canyon, the Sunken City and the pitch-black Mariana Vault. More than 100 species live there, some only at night or in certain weather. Heavy fish have to be fought: the player taps to keep the line tension out of the red. Catches go on show in five aquarium tanks, and legendary fish unlock trophy tank styles.

Captain Marv, the game's friendly skipper, guides new players through their first dive and explains each feature as it opens up.
